teacher

I have been working with children of different ages for 7 years. I studied pre-school and extracurricular pedagogy and taught children at preschool and primary school. I also led free-time activities for kids in Czech Republic and England. I have a patient, respectful approach to children and I see spending time with them as mutually enriching. My greatest interest is music, especially piano and flute.

MICHAL KŘÍSTEK

teacher

Since my childhood I have been surrounded by music. I studied singing at the Prague Conservatory and worked as an opera soloist. With my son’s entry to preschool, I had the opportunity to work there as a volunteer. I found myself much happier with children than in theater. I completed my education and also worked as a deputy director. I created a year-round educational system of etiquette for preschool children. My passion apart from music is books, especially fiction, philosophy, psychology and politics.

Although I am originally from Ukraine, I have been living in Prague almost since I was born. I graduated from high school and I study college with a focus on management and economics. In addition to my studies, however, I found space for self-realization and love in working with children and I also extended my education in this field. Children are an inspiration to me, they enrich me and give me energy. It matters to me that they always feel comfortable, safe with me, and that I also give them a part of myself. In my free time I like to travel, read, or spend time in nature.

Hello! I’m Sarah. Originally from Colorado, USA, I have been living in the Czech Republic since 2013 and feel very lucky to call it home. Leaving university with a degree in Linguistics, I continued to study World Englishes, TEFL, and TESOL with a focus on young learners. I have been working with children here in Prague for seven years and I still enjoy it so much! In my free-time, I love reading in the many parks Prague has to offer, going for hikes with my dog Charlie (half Beagle/half Dachshund), and creating ceramics.

ADÉLA STEJSKALOVÁ

teacher, speech therapist

As a kid, I wanted to be a teacher, but during my studies I got interested in speech therapy, which really captivated me. It connects everything I like: working with children, feeling that I’m passing on something nice and helping someone. Most kids have speech therapy associated with pleasant memories – as a place where they went to play and soo it should be also taken. I graduated in psychology and special education at Charles University. I love animals and nature. At home I have 4 degus – incredibly fun little creatures and good friends.

I am the mother of an adult daughter, but the time when she was discovering the world as a child was the most beautiful for me. And that is why I have been working for the little ones for almost five years now and I am happy among them. In my free time I love to walk in the forest, read, grow orchids and in the summer herbs at our weekend house.

teaching assistant

Already during my economics studies I started to devote myself to children and I have led dance lessons in a children’s club. I have also been very happy to look after my cousins since their early months. After gaining some experience, I decided that I wanted to work with the children full-time and on a professional level. So I completed my education and became a teaching assistant. I love to spend my free time with family, friends and my beloved four-legged friend.

Although I am an only child, I have spent time with children constantly thanks to the large family I come from. I have had a strong bond with them from an early age. I like to take care of children and guide them through the first years of their lives. Ever since I was a teenager, I have often babysat and now I am taking care of kids daily alongside my university studies. This work fulfills me a lot, it brings me so much joy and I like to give that joy back to the children. Before my work at EduArt kindergarten, I was convinced that I wanted to have only one child in the future, but after a few months here I changed my mind and I definitely want to have more. My interests include philosophy, languages and travel.

Working with children fills and accompanies me throughout my life and I have a very friendly relationship with children. I like to play the piano, create and read.

I gained my first experience with children caring for the children of my older sisters. I wanted to continue spending time with the children, so while studying I became an instructor and leader at children’s camps. A great experience for me was a stay in the USA, where I worked as an au-pair. Dedicating to children is very rewarding for me and I believe that I can pass on joy and enthusiasm to them.
