I graduated from the Dept. of Primary Education at Charles University. I have been working with children for 13 years. At first, I took care of the children in the nursery and taught at the primary school, later I worked as a kindergarten director and created new pedagogical projects. Thanks to my experience in education, I know that I am in the right place and my work makes sense. I like to spend time with family and friends and travel. In EduArt, I meet wonderful people, for whom working with kids is a mission, just like for me.

I graduated from the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University, with specialization in the Civil Sector. I have managed educational projects, run a private nursery and I am a certified nanny. The most important thing about my job is that it makes sense to me. I see its effect immediately – in the joys of children’s play and learning. In my free time I take care of my two children, attend cultural events, read, and go out in nature. I perceive EduArt as my “third child”, which needs to be cared for responsibly and persistently and constantly developed.

Since my childhood I have been surrounded by music. I studied singing at the Prague Conservatory and worked as an opera soloist. With my son’s entry to preschool, I had the opportunity to work there as a volunteer. I found myself much happier with children than in theater. I completed my education and also worked as a deputy director. I created a year-round educational system of etiquette for preschool children. My passion apart from music is books, especially fiction, philosophy, psychology and politics.

Because I was attracted to activities for children from an early age, I decided to study at the Faculty of Education, Charles University. While studying I led children’s programs at Loučeň Chateau and I also worked at the children’s camps as an instructor, taught languages or babysitted. For a moment, I shifted from the smaller children to elementary school to find out that I miss unlimited sincerity, inspiration and the creativity I love so much in preschoolers. I am glad that my way led me to amazing EduArt, where I can spend days filled with joy with my youngest friends. If you would not meet me in kindergarten, you may run into me at university, on a walk with my dog and my husband, by jogging or by creating my food blog.

Being a teacher is the most valuable and natural thing that has ever happened to me. The work of a preschool teacher unites everything that brings me the greatest joy in life and that enriches it with meaning at all levels. Most of all, I like to laugh with the children, sing, play musical instruments, read and, last but not least, listen to them, discuss everything they are interested in and be inspired by them. My work is also my hobby, and I consider it another of their undeniable advantages that I can work and continue studying it at the same time. In the future, I would like to enrich my knowledge in special pedagogy studies.

My experience with children includes babysitting, being the oldest of 3 siblings, and being an Aunt to my niece and nephew. After working in an environment that depleted my energy, it led me to pursuing a profession that would bring energy and joy into my life, which is for me, working with children. With a passion for teaching and the positivity and liveliness that children bring, I knew this was something I wanted to pursue. Being able to guide and observe children learn, grow, and be curious through this stage of their life is extremely fulfilling, but as much as I am teaching them, they are also teaching me. Children are inspirations and remind us to be present, curious, and playful even as adults.
